Overlooking the bush and mopane forest, Mankwe's campsites offer the intrepid self-drive camper bush campsites that are equipped with bucket shower, flush toilet and wash basin.
Borehole water is provided for campers, but this is not drinking water (please bring your own supply). Water can be heated on the fire for a hot shower.
Each campsite is provided with firewood on the first night and additional firewood is available to purchase at the main lodge. The campsites are not fenced and animals can and do roam freely.
Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests in one group and 3 or 4 vehicles. We do also have one large site that can accommodate groups of up to 30 people. A campsite is booked for exclusive use for your group, be you two or ten travellers.
All campers must report to the main lodge reception for check in. Campers may also book and settle direct for game drives, meals and drinks at the main lodge. Campsites can only be accessed in 4x4 vehicle as the roads in the area are very sandy. Driving in the Moremi National Park does require a 4x4. The driving time from Maun is approximately 2hr30 minutes. Mankwe is 1 hour from either South or North Gates of the Moremi.
